| Bogey and Shani, official Boomer Times canine reps, cordially invite you to attend the first "Furkid Funfair" hosted by US, at 1551 Wall Street at the east end of the Regency Plaza Shopping Center in St. Charles, MO, Saturday, October 30, 2004. From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. it'll be all about fur and hu-kids, featuring a Parade of Rescues, a Halloween Critter Costume Contest, clowns and other entertainers, witches, ghosts and goblins, photo opportunities, special talent demonstrations, a kissing booth, pony rides, raffles and giveaways; all kinds of critter service and product booths, guest rescue groups and the FINEST bake sale goodies in all the land (Carbs and Calories Galore! They don't count when going for a good cause!), including Kitty Litter Cakes--with a BIG prize for most authentic--oh boy, we can't wait to see those! We hear they make great cat costume accessories too! | Every dog that thankfully comes into rescue has in effect, "cheated fate". Whether it's fate had been to be PTS, living out its life caged in poor conditions of a puppy mill, or left to wander alone lost and abandoned. The intervention of one special person has saved the life a many a doomed dog.
